Berlinda Gedie, popularly known as Shylar, Ghana’s rising female artist, has released a new song titled “Atwei” featuring rapper Kwesi Amewuga off her highly anticipated EP, “First Face.”
This collection includes six powerful tracks featuring collaborations with artists like Eno Barony and Kwesi Amewuga.

“I aimed to create an EP that reflects the essence of the human experience,” she explained, mentioning that she experimented with various sounds and styles to craft a unique and relatable sonic landscape that would transport listeners to a different emotional state.
The EP showcases a mix of Highlife, Afrobeats, and Dancehall genres. Shylar found inspiration in her personal experiences with love, loss, and self-discovery for this project.
