However, Ken Ashigbe, the CEO of Ghana’s telecoms chamber, has stated that the rollout of 5G will take time.
“It will take some time in Ghana to acquire 5G,” he says. We’ll need to bring 4G up to about 80% before we can shift to 5G. Currently, only about 6% of Ghana’s population has access to 4G. It may take a little longer because 5G necessitates so much.”
